 In order for residents of Ondo State to be able to visit churches and mosques, as well as other public institutions of the state, the government has ordered that from now on they must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

According to the state government, this step was taken in order to ensure that the residents of the state are vaccinated.

It was said that the decision was made by the State Executive Council.

According to the commissioner for information and orientation in the state, Donald Ojogo, this measure was part of the government's efforts to contain the spread of the Delta variant of the virus.

He said that, in addition to all existing protocols, all residents of the state must be vaccinated in two weeks, stressing that after two weeks, proof of vaccination will be a condition for access to public places.
